The laboratory was created in 2012 with the premise of supporting a group specialized in Environmental Remote Sensing. Currently, LSRACA is an accomplished project and has grown significantly. The laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment financed by funding agencies (CNPq, FAPERJ, CAPES and others) and by projects in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams from UFRRJ and other Brazilian institutions.
